Still living in Omaha, kids almost grown or in college I have been in the Insurance Industry for over 26 years and Longterm Care for the last 12 years. Single since our 20th class reunion. I built a home outside Omaha and enjoy working out or anything outdoors. I fly the Longhorn flag on Game day to piss off my neighbors. My Dad is in Azle in a assisted living facility and brother is in Springtown. Life is normal. God Bless!
Very nice.I LIKE ! Job well done Webmaster! Would love to hear from anyone!!
Great site ! Thank you for doing this! Doug Mid-Term Grad '74
Thank you for all of the current information. What a wonderful website.
Great site Robert and very well done! I'm glad you took the initiative to get this up and running, maybe we will have better success with this one. I hope others will find it and take advantage of it by posting class functions and class news to our fellow classmates. Communication is the key if we are to have successful future class reunions, large or small. There is no doubt in my mind that email notification will be the primary source to notify all of future reunions. Mass US Postal mailouts just don't work today due to cost and accurate addresses on file. I hope others will take it upon themselves to create other LD Bell class web sites too. Thank you for doing such a great job.
This is a great thing to be free and for all to use.
Now living in Frisco after having transferred back to the area from Houston. Great job on the site Robert.
Am still in Hurst, Married almost 30 years, 2 kids (Bell grads!!) & 4 grandkids!!! Hope to see a lot of you at homecoming &/or afterwards!!! Go Raiders!!!!!!!!!!!
Great web site. I look forward to more class get- togethers in the future. Keep us posted! Carrie
Left the year after Bedford Jr. High but remember all the great people..Was great seeing everyone again.. And is great keeping in contact with the best of them.
Many, (well maybe only some by now)might remember me from Hurst Jr. High a/o the old neighborhood in Bedford. Spent WAY TOO long looking through this tonight, but I think another "stroll down memory lane" was worth it. Thanks to Mark Aaron who forwarded the sight address to me, and to all who have constructed and maintained this sight. Texas trips are way too infrequent, but the memories live on. My best to you all!
What a wonderful time we had after the homecoming game! I think we should do a "mini" get together every 3-4 months, or whenever is feasible! Robert, you are doing an OUTSTANDING job on the website! Terri
Yes, I agree Terri, we need to have more gatherings, it is so easy to do. I have so much fun when I get around all you clowns!! It was great talking to you Robert W., after all these years I finally got to introduce myself to you. I know you and Mike Hay have always been really close friends. I talked to him today and told him that you and I had talked briefly. Keep up the good work on our website. Regina
Hello everyone. Great site Robert, I am still in Alabama in the federal pen ( I work there lol). Hope to make one of the get togethers soon.

Had three wonderful, children, daughter Nichole Lea 28yrs., James Kenneth III 23yrs., & Jesse Lee 19yrs. Hey Wootman, it was great talking to ya again after like 17 years or something like that. I'm still hanging around being a Sheriff's Deputy in Wise County.I live in Springtown Tx with my wife Dianne who I've married to for 6 years. We have a place in the country with 7 acres and a couple of horses and numerous cats.In my spare time I like to rent small planes and fly around with my wife who also enjoys flying. Anyone that may remember me knows I was into music with guys like Jerry Songer and Buddy Whittington. Jerry, Buddy and I were in the band that won the Senior Follies contest that featured Gary Morse as Elvis. I have been playing steel guitar professionally in various popular country bands around D/FW since graduating from Bell. Playing music has been fun and allowed me to travel to places like Denver,Wyoming and Alaska in the last couple of years. For fun, check me out (the steel guitar player) in some of the past bands I've worked with at: www.westofnowhere.com www.gatlinmcadoo.com I'm currently with the Coby Mcdonald Band but they don't have any pics of me up yet.Check out his schedule and come see me. www.cobymcdonald.com Later Pals
Just checking out the new and improved site. GOOD JOB Robert. I am really looking forward to our next get-together!
Bobby, Thanks so much for doing this site. It is excellent and so much fun to take a walk back through our lives in school. Although I did not officially graduate from L.D. Bell I had my heart there with everyone. I married an Army man the summer before graduation therefore finished my last 3 months of school in Killeen,Tx (Fort Hood.)That was hilarious as I was 17 and my husband had to sign my report cards and give me permission to miss school! Also he was called if I got sick at school to give me permission to drive home! Those were the days! Patricia Reeves VanHauen and I have been best friends since we were 8 yrs old at West Hurst Elem. 43 years now! We have laughed a lot about funny people and things from school. I still love to talk as you can see. My 2nd husband and I have raised his 2 boys and my 3 sons producing 7 grandkids to date! My youngest son David Pearson died March 27th,2005 at age 25 from a Heroin overdose. Our lives as a family have never been the same. My husband and I raise David's 7 yr.old boy and his 9 year old girl and have been for 5 years now. I am PTA President at David E. Smith Elementary in Haltom City,TX. Very busy for a old Grandma! Amazed at how many of us have had to step into these shoes again. Look forward to seeing you at the get-together in February! Thanks again for the information. God Bless, Cheryle
Thanks fer postin' that clip Robert! That was a fun deal, however it pales in comparison to the fabled, legendary "Elvis: The Bell Concert" vid featuring Dicky Wood, (the SADLY late) Jerry Songer, Jeff Kamprath, Van Eisenmann and me backin' up Gary Morse as Da King. Wonder if the Holiday Inn in Bedford needs an oldies act? We can be had, and we can ALSO be bought.....('speshully around the 1st of the month)
Robert, The web site is wonderful! Thanks for all your hard work trying to gather the class of 74! I work at a Geriatric Clinic in the area so I see a lot of our classmates parents! Keep up the good work Robert! Debbie (Stewart) Cline
Robert, Wonderful site. Thank you for taking care of this and letting everyone know what is going on. I appreciate getting to visit and recall fond memories! Still alive and kicking. I have a leadership/management consulting practice in the Mid-Cities area. My office is located in the old K-Mart building in Euless. Two daughters, both graduated from Bell. One just graduated from Texas Tech and will be attending Law School in the fall (am I really sure she is my kid???? maybe need DNA testing), the other is still attending Texas Tech. Wife is a radiographer/Cat scan tech. I am almost finished with my course work and getting ready to take (and hopefully pass) my comps and start the dissertation process for a Ph.D. (if anyone knows the where-a-bouts of Mrs. Moore, our Sr. English teacher, would you please tell her? She did not think I would ever amount to anything!...she still may be right on that one!! *grin*) Looking forward to seeing folks again soon.
GREAT WEB SITE ROBERT HOPE YOU ARE DOING OK YOUR FRIEND, RICKY WOOD
Just wanted to tell Robert how great the website is looking, hopefully you can continue, are you getting many contributions?
hello We really enjoy the website.Keep up the good work Robert.
Great site. Thanks for hosting it.
After graduation at mid-term in 1974 I stayed single until 1982. I married a wonderful guy that went to Trinity High School and also graduated in 1974. We have been married for 25 years, (26 years next month), I have been blessed with a 23 year daughter, a 27 year old stepson who is a fireman and who is married with great wife, also I have (1) 9 year old grandson. I love the county life, love to travel in our RV and go camping and spend time with our animals. We have 4 horses, 5 dogs, 1 cat.
I so appreciate that you are investing what must be a great deal of your personal time into this venture for all of us. I spent some hours on the site this evening and was shocked to see some of the names of classmates that had passed. The pictures of the 30th were a hoot! Lord, you don't realize how old you really are until you see your high school sweetheart(s) with gray hair! I am traveling the world, having invested the last 30+ years into global logistics, three husbands, three sons and now three grandsons. I moved away during our Senior year and graduated from Tyler, but my ring and senior pictures were from Bell. Great job. Always a Blue Raider, and missing my best buddy Karen Kniffin as well as wishing Gary Robertson would (like the proverbial bad penny) turn up again in my life.
I am not missing. I have been teaching Math including AP Calculus at Haltom High for 27 years.
I am currently living in Virginia. I am teaching 6th grade. My oldest daughter lives in Maryland with her husband and son. She is a project manager for the Navy. My middle daughter is about ready to graduate from James Madison University with a masters degree in education. My youngest son is in his first year of college majoring in engineering. I would love to hear from old classmates. Lisa

I googled my name and found out I'm a "missing person"! I guess that I, as a foreign exchange student from Sweden, might be a bit hard to keep track of. I presently live and work in Finland and is as from now no longer a "missing person". Yours sincerely Set Erdman

Robert, what a great website. You have done a terrific job.
You did a great job on the website. I see I'm a missing person :) I am currently living in Georgia, but am possibly transferring out to California. I've been away from Hurst since 1978.
