A good friend of mine from our class of '74 that played in a band with the late Jerry Songer and Buddy Whittington in high school told me recently that he remembers watching an Eric Clapton concert with Buddy in early '70's and Buddy remarked "yea, I'd sure like to play with Clapton someday......"
